OBJECTIVE OF THE JUNIOR CERTIFICATE COURSE:
The student has to master the basic aliments of grammar, know Japanese alphabets (Hiragana & Katakana), around 200 kanji and 1000 words, and must attain the ability to engage in simple conversation and to read & write short simple sentences as well. The approach of teaching adopted is such that the students can appear for the JLPT (N5 & N4) at the end of the course.
